Our focus is to build diversified portfolios that are able to stand the test of time.  Long-term equity returns are modest single digit, and we recognize that attention must be paid to mitigating and minimizing costs that serve to impair returns.  Too often, investors and advisors focus on achieving above average returns, which drives attention away from lowering risk and managing costs.  The traditional financial advisor is compensated by the products that they sell, which implies a significant potential conflict of interest.  As a leader in the financial services industry, John Tabet was an early adopter and pioneer in providing fee-based financial advice, providing an alternative to commission based or product driven advisors.

Our investment administration fee is based on the value of your portfolio, not on the products you are invested in.  Once offered only to Ultra High Net-Worth investors, fee-based advice aligns the interest of the investor and the advisor.  Investment decisions are not solely based on cash holdings, transactional costs, or product driven sales targets.  The primary objective is preserving and growing capital. Our fees are transparent, and clearly outlined in a fixed fee agreement, and detailed on a monthly basis in client statements.

Efficient design also includes a focus on the investments that we select.  Employing investment strategies that include exchange traded funds, (EFT) F-Class Mutual Funds, individual stocks and/or bonds, careful attention is paid to the underlying costs of investments.  An investor advocate, John Tabet and the ViewStone Investment Team meeting with product manufacturers to encourage a downward revision of MER’s (Management Expense Ratio) or made portfolio changes to lower the cost of investing
